Boulder toss
This purely Physical attack is the manifestation of pure destruction. It has high base phys damage for both the projectile and the explosion and high added damage effectiveness. The downside is that it cannot Pierce, Chain, Fork, gain any additional projectiles and has 0% base crit chance.

Trifling Assault
Let’s see how many times will this jump when I toss it.

New to POE – Are You Looking For Best Build Advice

I know very little about the game, but it seems interesting. I was kind of wondering what people typically play the game for, raiding, pvp, dungeons, etc? I have no idea what to even think about character building. I know I will probably play solo a lot unless there is like clan vs clan battles, large clan events, or something after max level. I do like the idea of being able to summon a ton of things. I just don’t know what combinations of classes/skills actually work well together, so Idk where to start. Thinking about building a character is pretty intimidating with how big the tree is. Late game I may play a support/tank type of character if I end up joining a group.

Most of the players play solo, but often interacting with other players to trade and group sometimes. Guilds are a part of the game, joining a “noob” friendly guild can definitely help as you can ask all sorts of questions within the guild. People mainly use it as a community (a lot of streamers have their own guilds, etc.), there are no clan battles or raids, or any guild events.

Under builds, you can find different classes with various builds. If this is your first time playing the game, most likely, you won’t understand all of the mechanics built around the build and some of the rare equipment stats needed for the build. But just try to follow a simple one and see how far you can get, most people’s first few builds don’t turn out great at all. If you enjoy summoning, I can recommend you go to the witch class, and see some of the summoner builds there. But they can be confusing to beginners. After the story line (finishing up 10 acts), the true end game starts, where you can start farming different tiers of maps. A lot of players do that solo, but if you can find a group, you can potentially play a support role, where you are only supporting the other dps chars and casting out curses sometimes. Again, as a beginner, certain supporter builds will be confusing and hard to catch on.

Making Another Character Built Around Utilizing – Path of Exile

As I’m saving some of the more interesting and or simply build-enabling I noticed that both of these items sort of revolve around using lots and lots of mana. Since mana builds have always interested me, I figured I could make another character built around utilizing these two items. The question of course is: how would you guys best utilize these two uniques? Kitava’s Thirst gives 30% chance to trigger socketed spell(s) every time I skill with mana cost >= 100, while the Cane provides a power charge for every 200 mana I use. I like the way youre thinking here but would like to point out a few options to consider.

1. Voidbringer- 40-80 percent increased mana cost of skills, huge amounts of increased spell crit, decent ES, and +1 level of socketed elemental gems.

2. Scolds Bridle- it’s not kitava’s (and definitely doesnt look as cool) but it would allow you to puke spells out of literally every gem slot you have rather than just the 4 link in your helm. It causes you to take damage based on how much mana you spend. You can then put cast on damage taken + spells in every gem socket on your gear, making you a spell puking machine. This obviously isnt necessary but its something to consider.

3. Zerphi’s Last Breath- a flask that grants life based on the mana you spend. If youre already spending a shit ton, this can help with sustain. This is especially good when paired with scolds bridle.

4. Pledge of hands- again its not the staff you were wanting to use, but it does allow a 7 link with insane spell puking potential and it provides increased mana, which you very well could need. It’s totally not necessary but it could be helpful.

Since the Cane provides easy access to power charges, I’d guess this build should get a lot of them and could also be a Cast on Crit build for even more spell-spam. As the build needs to stack a lot of mana and regen to keep going. First ascendancy option that came to mind was Hierophant, but Sanctuary of Thought has massive mana cost reductions that would be counter-productive for this build. The second thought I had was Ascendant, going for Elementalist and Inquisitor for better Shock, Elemental Penetration and other boons.

What Are The Popular Path Of Exile Skills Among Players?

What’s Your Expect About Path Of Exile Skills In 3.3?

In Path of Exile 3.3, I hope that GGG will save some skills that includes Rejuvenation Totem, Frost Wall, Devouring Totem, Vigilant Strike and Puncture don’t really serve much purpose.

These could be really cool support skills if they had some mechanics changes to them. Frost Wall especially was a very cool support skill that was used as far back as pre 1.0 for very hard encounters and was very tactical and is now in such a sad state nobody uses it for any reason.

I would love to see Rejuvenation Totem have more effects or options or ways to progress it – something. People complain about supports in PoE but I think this skill could make playing support a little more interesting.

One player think that Frost Wall is great in a CWDT setup for wanding and some spellcasting. It’s definitely more of a leveling skill, but he have taken it in mapping (he think he even did CWDT-IC-FW-Phase Run once for a Ranged Attack Totem Scion). It’s sorta like how Cast on Death-Portal is awesome for leveling and then you make space for something else.

And some players think that Frost Wall is niche useful and is probably dramatically underused by projectile builds. Rejuvenation Totem and Devouring Totem probably just need numerical buffs. The mechanics are fine. Devouring is much better than before now that Unearth and Desecrate are actually working well for corpse generation.

They also said that Vigilant Strike is a candidate to be redesigned for viability as a main skill, but it currently niche useful for certain types of builds.

They think that Puncture is fine already. Just because it’s off-meta doesn’t mean it’s bad. Barrage is probably still better as a single target for bow builds though. Barrage is OP because of how many ways of getting additional arrows exist in the game now. Puncture could be buffed entirely through itemization (better global phys/ailment scaling). Doesn’t need a redesign. What’s your opinion?
